mail in wrong folder

My inbound mail does not always go to my inbox. I have to search all folders to find it. Problem is inconsistent. Multiple messages from the same address often end up in different folders. Anyone

oils experience this problem?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.15

Mail preview showing the same preview for different messages Hello, I'm having problems with Apple Mail. When I scroll through emails in a folder (some of which are an ongoing "conversation") the same content is show in the preview window. If I double-click on them, the actual email is shown. But it takes a long time to search and defeats the point of having a preview window. I've tried "rebuilding" mailboxes, but it doesn't fix the problem. Also, some emails are missing from a folder to which I had dragged them. If I search by sender, I find the missing messages, but they are in a folder called "Important". I think I used to have a folder called "Important" but I don't anymore. Any ideas? Thank you.

wrong inbox Why is my main going into another folder mailbox instead of the inbox? My emails ate to going into my email inbox they are being sent to another folder.

You need to check Rules in the Mail preferences and also rules in your provider account by signing in using Safari
