Mac Mini 1283 won't boot

Hello,

I'm trying to boot a Mac Mini 1283.

It was couple of years in a drawer, and last time I run it it was working properly.

Now I tried to boot it up again but it's not working.

I tried all the possible combination including 'cmd+R' to enter recovery mode (it won't go in recovery)

and olding down 'alt' key (this brings me to the window of the hard drive selection but it won't show the external hard drive that I prepared as a bootable drive from another Mac)

I even try pressing 'cmd+S' but after showing a black written screen (pic attached) the screen would just freeze and turn white.

Any suggestions? should I try to swap the hard drive? is it the end of my loved Mac Mini ?
