Wi-Fi setting on my Apple X iPhone, shows Weak Security, how do I improve it?
The signal is OK. I just curious why I set up of the name on my iPhone shows weak security -- WEP is not considered secure.
If this is your Wi-Fi network , confiqure the router to use WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 security tpye. * I do not know anything about the WEP.
As Lawrence Finch stated in response above, WEP and WPA2 are levels of security used by a WiFi router. A WiFi router is a device that broadcasts a WiFi signal with secure measures such as WEP or WPA2 etc. These adjustments are NOT on your iPhone. The security protocol needs to be changed at the Router.
If you own that WiFi router (the area where you are getting the message on your iPhone) then you can contact its manufacturer and learn how to change the security settings of the WiFi Router to the WPA2 encryption. If the Router in question is not yours or are on a public WiFi system then there is nothing you will be able to do about it in most cases.

If your phone says weak security it means the router you are connected to is not using WPA2 encryption. You need to change that in the router.
What exactly do you mean by stating that the WiFi shows weak security? Did you mean a weak signal? Please clarify. Thanks.
