keynote - Random hot buttons.

I have a simple keynote presentation, one page has 4 coloured squares. Each square has a hot button with a "fly in" name and imbedded voice recording.. I want to be able to press and play each hot button at random, not in the 1,2,3,4 order that it makes me do in setting up the animation.. Is this possible? Thanks, hope someone can advise...

I don’t understand your terminology but if I make a guess:

There are four text boxes that you want to appear using the flyin animation, in random access order by clicking on one of the four shapes

use hyperlinks, however, as Keynote does not action an effect using a hyperlink a workaround is used:

  • create a hyperlink on each button
  • Return to home page
  • Click on another button

Hi Gary, Thank you for your reply and sorry for my delay in getting back to you... Yes that is exactly what I am tying to do.... I have numerous pages to make up that will need to use dozens of these hyperlinks and was hoping to keep it all within one page but obviously that is not going to be possible within Keynote...I will have to do it the hard way.. Thanks again for your advice........
