Disabled Ipad

Our ipad is disabled. Is there a way of fixing it without having to restore it? I don't know if the photos are stored to the cloud. Photos are the only important thing, deleting apps doesn't bother me.

If your iPad is disabled, the only method to recover access is to follow the “restore” process using either a PC or Mac. It is not possible to un-disable from the disabled device. When restoring your iPad, your data can optionally restored from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
