Question

My apps won't let me access my photos to use in apps, like instagram and pinterest, they keep saying go change privacy settings but when I go into the privacy setting nothing comes up.

I cannot upload a photo via any app. It always says "this app does not have access to your photos, you can change this in privacy settings" when I go to "photos" in the privacy settings, it says "apps that have requested access to your photos will appear here" but there's nothing there. It's like it doesn't realise these apps want to have access to photos and stuff. I deleted some apps Facebook, Instagram and re-installed it, clicked "allow" when re-installing and no change. It's really annoying me, as I can't even upload photos to Instagram and that's the whole point in Instagram! I've googled it a million times and nobody seems to have the same problem, and if they do they seem to have solved it by going to privacy settings. I've even went into the seperate apps in privacy settings and again it doesn't seem to realise that the apps even want access to photos. Please help!

No option to allow apps access to photos When apps ask me permission to have my photo gallery, I click yes and it brings me to settings for that app but there is no option for allowing access to photos. Its like this for all the apps. It also only started happening today and was working fine before. Ive already tried to reset my location and privacy but it did nothing.

Photos I know this has been asked many times, but I can’t get my apps to allow photos. I have tried privacy setting, screen time, restarting, etc. i don’t even get a message asking to allow photos. I rlly need the help plz

Hi there!

Have you tried resetting your privacy settings? - (This will clear all the Privacy settings for all apps).

Go to the setting General -> Reset -> Reset Location & Privacy.
Enter your passcode and follow prompt to reset Location & Privacy.
Login to Instagram, go to add a photo / take a photo.
Follow prompts to allow access to your camera and photos.
Microphone and location can be allowed as well!
