Trackpad on 2015 MacBook

Entire keyboard replaced in Nov. 2019. Had to leave the laptop for a week. Now, the trackpad is stuck. Tried using electronic air to no avail. Made a repair appt for today. Any other ideas to try before the late afternoon repair appt.?

I have had my MacBook Pro 13 for around 2 years, last night it was working fine but this morning when I turned it on the keyboard and trackpad were non responsive. The prognosis was that I could have the laptop repaired but at just shy of £600 I feel this is not acceptable. So wireless keyboard and mouse it is at £20, but this also annoys me as really a laptop at the premium price of £1299 should go wrong like this after two years. I am now at the point of saying goodbye to all Apple products as it make las me feel that the hardware is not all it is cracked up to be and prone to instant failure. so if anyone can advise as I really don’t think it’s the hardware at fault then I would be super interested thanks

2015 MacBook (Retina) 12" - keyboard and trackpad are now non functional. Just had this MacBook's screen replaced by Apple because of the anti-glare issue - but then they said the keyboard connector "wasn't in properly" and it was a $460 repair so I told them no. MacBook works completely fine but after this happened, the keyboard is unresponsive and the trackpad will click but not move the cursor. Can't do SMC/NVRAM/PRAM resets since the keyboard doesn't work. Any suggestions, anyone?

My trackpad is no longer working on my MacBook Air. I have already reset the SMC and that helped for 5 mins… When I opened my MacBook Air today, my trackpad was not responsive. I googled how to fix it and was advised to reset the SMC. That worked during initial startup and then 5 mins later, my trackpad stopped working again. I even tried using my keyboard to try and reset the trackpad with no luck. My laptop also says it’s up to date.

If this is a mechanical issue, I would wait for the appointment, especially since this might be in range of the 90 days warranty for Apple repairs.
