Export large video file from iPhone to my Windows PC

Hello

I have an iPhone 11 and I have recorded three videos (21 mins, 6 mins, 29 mins) that I want to transfer to my PC.

If I plug my phone into my PC, and view through This PC, in the DCIM folder, I can see the three videos are 4.8GB, 1.3GB, 6.5GB each. So quite large files.

I have managed to copy the 1.3GB file by dragging and dropping.

The 4.8GB has brought up the same "copying" dialog box when I drag and drop it but doesn't seem to be actually doing anything.

And now it has just given the error "A device attached to the system is not functioning".

My phone is unlocked.

If I try to get these large vidoes in the Files on iCloud, it doesn't even look like it tried. The file certainly never ends up there.

If I try to add it to Dropbox, it prepares the videos (the circle gets full) then it says "oh I can't".

Same with Tresorit (similar to Dropbox).

I tried using the Windows Photos Import function - that couldn't do it either.

How am I supposed to get these files off my phone?

Thanks

iPhone 11, iOS 13

I think basically Apple want to make it hard for people to get big files off.

Im sure I could Airdrop these big files to a Mac quite happily....

Your video Has the solution though - the Simple Transfer app works immediately.

A shame this functionality doesn’t work with built in Apple functions though.

thanks
