Cursor pointer disappears

Now and then my Macbook Pro running Mojave will lose its cursor pointer and once that happens, I cannot select anything to open or use. Anyone else have this problem and if so, what did you do to fix/prevent? 'Seems like a ridiculous and lame bug, (not that there is ever a good bug), in Mojave. Thanks.
