Does anyone know how to use find my iPhone app for Apple Watch if I lost it and it is dead? Does it still ping?

Will the Apple Watch still ping from the find my iPhone app if I lost it in my house and it is dead?

If the watch is dead then it is incapable of transmitting anything.
