I cannot view my photos from my iMac to my TV via AppleTV4. I spent 2 hours with Apple Support but no avail

I have spent 3 hours (2 sessions) with Apple Support - no success - and I have followed the instruction from Apple

"Use Home Sharing to share media from Computer to other devices" and still no joy.

Apple tV (MQD22LL/A) just cannot find the files - the photos selected via Media Sharing on the iMac.

In the past, with an older AppleTV, I was able to do this, but then I updated my iMac (1 year old now) and had to get

a new Apple TV - and then the trouble began.

The instruction mention iTunes in some sections, but iTunes is gone and Music is now the App.

Any Clue and Help greatly appreciated.

To set up Home Sharing in iTunes: 

Open iTunes on your computer.

Choose Advanced > Turn On Home Sharing.

Enter your Apple ID and password, and then click Create Home Share.

Repeat steps 1 through 3 on each computer you want to use for Home Sharing. 

For information about iTunes, open iTunes and choose Help > iTunes Help. 

To set up Home Sharing on Apple TV: 

On Apple TV, choose Settings > Computers.

Choose Turn On Home Sharing, and then enter the same Apple ID and password you entered on your computer.
