Camera Shutter sound

I recently bought an iPhone 11 and there seems to be some problem with the camera shutter sound. Whenever I take a photo, there is a camera click/shutter sound which is normal but even when I turn my silent mode on by switching the button on the left of the phone, phone still makes the sound when I take a photo. I tried turning down the volume, the ringer volume and everything else but phone is still making the shutter/click sound whenever I take a photo. Not sure if its a bug with the new iPhone or what?

Phones made for some markets (Japan as an example) can not mute the shutter sound.

If you bought the phone outside the Japan then definitely there is option available to close the shutter sound and You can easily fix this issue in Camera's Settings. In Japan, it is illegal to close the shutter sound of the camera.

There are many countries (e.g. Japan) where putting camera shutters to silent is illegal

Hence if you have bought an iPhone from any of these countries (e.g. Japan) , you cannot put it off.
