I received an email that my ID account is locked because someone tried to log on on my account. How to understand if it is a fake email?

These are always fake. Forward them to reportphishing@apple.com as attachments and then delete them.


If an Apple ID actually gets locked, its owner will be told when they try logging into it instead of through email.
