I bought a new iPhone. I want to know if it’s activated before or not and it’s locked for any carrier or not?

Is this ‘new’ phone a second hand phone for you? It gets activated the first time it is sold. If you aren’t sure about the carrier lock, try a SIM card and see if there is any error message. As I said, it sounds like this is not a ‘new’ phone if you have these questions.
