Depends on the source of the music.


Purchased Music from the iTunes Store, or ripped from CDs can be added to standard MP3 players and older iPods.


Music downloaded from the Apple Music subscription service, is tied to the subscription and DRM protected so will not be playable outside of iTunes or Apple devices signed in to the Apple ID that holds the subscription.
