Iphone 8

This is what my iphone 8 is saying what should i do The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.

Your iPhone 8 is still locked to the carrier that it was used originally with. Looks like you have changed carriers and are attempting to use another carrier's SIM card. This is OK as long as your iPhone is unlocked. Call the carrier that you iPhone 8 used to use and find out how the carrier can unlock your iPhone 8 for you. Once unlocked then you can change carriers as you need.
