Activating an iPod that you get second hand not knowing the previous owners id and password.

I bought my iPod at a pawn shop. It still has activation lock in place. How do i get past this to be able to use my iPod?

You can’t. Take it back and get your money back. That’s the activation lock and there is no user work around.

At best the seller did not properly wipe it, at worst that’s a stolen device.

You purchased an over 7-year old iPod Touch with Activation Lock.

You purchased a dead, useless electronic drink coaster.

No one here can help you and neither can Apple.

Return it and get your money back, if you can.
