Folders and files - Catalina

I recently upgraded my OS to Catalina, now I have a relocated items folder of all my work folders originally on the Mac HD. I would like to relocate them. However, I am not sure where to put them. It says it has to be different than the location before the upgrade or migration. So, If I want to move all the file folders I had built on my original HD, I can't put them back in there? Can you tell me where I can relocate my folders now that I am running Catalina? Thanks.

Moving them to your Documents folder would be one convenient location.
