MacBook Pro 2019 randomly shuts down

I got a MacBook Pro 2019 today and it is randomly shutting down and has already done this 5 times today as I try to set my laptop up. I haven’t done anything and it won’t turn on unless I hold the on button down for a long time multiple whilst being plugged in. Any help appreciated please thank you!!
