Syncing

I received an IPOD touch 7th generation and I was able to sync it to my ITUNES at home and now am trying to sync it with songs that I have on my ITUNES at work. My sync option is grayed out. I have songs in my music folder and I can't add them to my playlist. What am I doing wrong?

Presumably, you saw a message when you tried to Sync the iPod with your work PC. The message will have warned you that syncing with the work PC would erase the content of the iPod.

This is correct; you cannot synchronise an iPod with two iTunes Libraries.
