iPhone Backup

Hello,

I am wanting to backup my iPhone's data, without backing up it's media. All of my media is backed up through Amazon.

How am I able to keep the photos on my iPhone, but not sync the media to iCloud backup, in order to maintain my latest backups?

Backing Up iPhone without Photo Backup I am trying to backup my iPhone (XR, iOS 16.2) and want to include everything EXCEPT photos. In addition, I have my photo sync to iCloud turned off (I backup my photos to my Google Account/off the cloud). From what I have read, photos are included in a whole phone backup to iCloud if they are not syncing already through Photos. Is there a way I can work around this?

icloud backup from a 128 gb iphone 7 to a 64 gb iphone 11 hello, i would like to backup aprox 100 gb worth of information from my older iphone 7 (128 gb capacity), including photos. the thing is that my new iphone has only 64 gb. is there a posibility to select what to download from the backup when setting up the new device? i would like to exclude the photos from the backup. to keep them only in icloud and to be able to see them there only. also - noticed one thing - only 2gb are shown as "photos" the rest is included in the back-up. does anybody know why? thank you!

iCloud backup doesn’t include information already stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, shared photos, iCloud Photos*, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive.

*-If you had turned on iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud.
