  • Apple does not send such messages.
  • Apple would not warn of a pending account issue, giving you a deadline to fix the issue.
  • Apple does not include document, or PDF files to download.
  • Apple would not refer to you as Dear Customer, Dear Client, or anything other than the name on file for your account.
  • Apple would not have such horrible spelling or grammar.
  • Apple would not send a message to “Undisclosed Recipients”.

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

Play it Safe — Modify Your Apple ID Credentials:

That eMail you’ve depicted is a Phishing Scam. So, rather than chance a hacked account, I’d say it’s best that you modify your Apple ID credentials. Don’t share this information with anyone whomsoever.

Do the following at appleid.apple.com or through iTunes:

  • Open and Use a New eMail Account: Assign it to your Apple ID, and use it for Apple only

  • Create a New Password: Use one never used before, and is alphanumeric with punctuation marks

  • Assign a New Method of Payment

Also, Enable: Two-Factor Authentication, if an option in your area.
