Syncimg Ipod

I have 2 Ipods, an old classic and a newer one. I can sync the new one to download new music I have purchased, but when I try to update the old classic it shows up & when I clik on sync it says "starting sync", but never actually does it. What should I do?

Most likely your iPod's hard disk is failing. There is not much you can do about it as Apple has obsoleted all iPod models except the latest iPod touch (7th generation).
