How to reset my phone with restrictions on?

long story short, my parents put on a restriction passcode and forgot it. Now I'm all grown up, but the passcode was keeping me from accessing certain things, and the only way to get rid of it was to buy a brand new phone and not restore a backup (set it up as a new phone). That's what I did, but now I've run into a new problem. I'm trying to reset my old phone (erase all content) so that I can get rid of it, but it says that I need the restriction passcode to do it. Is there any way to bypass this restriction so that I can wipe my phone?

If not, how am I supposed to sell/trade in my old phone?

Forgot (You need a computer to follow these steps. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.)

I am sorry, if you have forgotten your Lock Screen passcode and there is no backup, then all data is lost, if you have one, not to worry. But if you have forgotten the Screen Time Passcode and even if you have a backup everything is lost because restoring will bring back the screen time restrictions (Status Quo).

What you will get back is what you have synced to iCloud and uploaded to iCloud Drive; information already synced and stored in iCloud, like Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, shared photosiCloud Photos *, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive.

*-If you had turned on iCloud Photos, your content is automatically stored in iCloud.
