What happened to the Anagram transition in Keynote? I'm using v 9.2.1

There is no anagram transition available since Keynote 6 was released in April 2013.

You can create a jumbled up letters effect if that is what you want with the Magic Move Transition

change the text on the second slide and select By Character in the Animate Inspector:
