My Apple Watch Series 4 won't charge or restart.

My Series 4 Apple Watch wont charge or restart. No matter how long I hold down any of the buttons, the apple logo won't pop up.

It might not have been making contact. Also, check the cord for damage.

Okay, so I tried plugging it in through the USB on my laptop and it's charging now. Anyone know why this would happen?

It was plugged into the wall. I tried a couple different outlets.

It’s not the cord because the same cord that worked on the laptop was the one that didn’t work in the wall.
