If you go to the Mac App Store and can't download Numbers from there then you are probably out of luck, though it may still be possible to purchase a boxed version of a really old version, part of iWork '09, through another online store and install that from DVD.

For a better experience I would suggest upgrading your hardware to keep up with the times. In computer terms 2011 is now ancient history.

Any reason for me not to share it? Might help someone who already had licensed it.

Hi quinn,

My gut tells me if Apple wanted the trial to continue to be available they would continue to make it available.

Also not sure making it possible to run "orphan ware" over a decade old is really helping. It's not likely to be a good experience.

But perhaps Apple would clarify if contacted.

HI Quinn,

The trial version, if it works at all, will work for only 30 days from the date of installation. To work beyond the trail period the user must obtain and enter a valid key. The server(s) receiving those keys, and the server(s) providing those keys are no longer in operation.

Barry
