Ever since Catalina was introduced with the new entertainment apps, I have been unable to sync any of my purchased audiobooks with my iPod Classic--they have disappeared from the iPod, even though I have it set to sync with all audiobooks. Is there a setting I am missing? Is there a fix? Please advise...

The only way I have gotten this to work is by using a backup of Mojave. You can load the books onto the classic but you lose all chapters.
If you don't have a backup of Mojave, perhaps you can download a copy from the Mac App Store and install it on an external drive.
Thank you. This solved my issue. However, I noticed that I had to sign-in/re-enter my password at least 4-5 times while I had my Books app open. Is this normal? Is there a fix? Is it a potential issue to be addressed by Apple in future updates?

Reauthorize your Apple ID in Books. Catalina seems to be a little forgetful.
