music App on Catalina won't copy mp3s to usb

I used to just drag and drop my tracks from iTunes onto non-apple usb devices, but now Music won't let me.

copy - paste doesn't work either...

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

Hi turingtest2, nope, won't copy to desktop either. nor will they copy to M3Unify. I randomly tried other tracks that I copied into iTunes from cd's years ago and many don't copy to desktop or M3Unify.

i installed iTunes onto my Windows Laptop last night and loaded the tracks into it, and they copy to USB no problem. Something is wrong with this new Music app or Catalina

I AGREE Music on Catalina won't let me drag and drop to USB. Apple need tp sort this out.

When I move a track to the USB the red blob used to turn to green and copy but now I just get a no entry sign and the tune bounces back to the Music file.

Must be some setting that needs changing.

Somebody help
