after Catalina update I'm not able to remove items from desktop and documents folders. "Move to bin" action is not working. Nothing happens if I press it. Although I hear remove sound. /bin/rm works fine. Any ideas?

Ok, moving folders to iCloud, reboot, move them back and reboot, solved the problem.

I have the same issue but is it possible to fix it without moving the folders to iCloud and restoring them?
btw. is anybody knows what a root cause is?

It happened to me as well. Just a restart worked for me, so some sort of Finder loader issue was what's up.
I have the same issue ;-(
Logging out isn't enough...I have to restart iMac.
