Has anyone received email (in junk folder) indicating your Apple ID was being used to sign into another device in Germany? How can I tell if it’s a phishing scam?

Check who the email is from, and does it have any spelling or grammar errors, or dodgy links in it ? See :

Check your device list to see if there is a device signed in that you don't recognize. You can remove the device using the steps in the article below. If you find one, change your password.
