unable to access free 1 yr Apple TV+ trial

I got an email offer for one year free Apple TV with the purchase of my new laptop. Unfortunately, when I open the app, it only gives me an option for a 1 week free trial. Any suggestions?

When you don’t get the offer when you should, the staff can help you with access codes to get this service.
