Is there a way to use a mouse on an i pad air 2. I have a Targus keyboard case and it works very well, but I would like it better if I could find a way to use a mouse on it

Mouse support for iPad is somewhat limited as it is designed to be used as an Accessibility tool. You can pair a pointing device in Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch > Devices.

Yes, most Bluetooth pointing devices that work with the Mac will work with iPad. Apple officially states that their own Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad are not supported however there is a workaround to get them to work.

I have used a Logitech mouse on my iPad and it worked great.
There should be NO problems using a Logitech Bluetooth mouse.

Have you enabled AssistiveTouch? Pointing devices on iPad are meant as an Accessibility tool so since the mouse paired with AssistiveTouch then you must enable AssistiveTouch.
