I have created an appleID, but I don't know how to create a iCloud email. Would it be the same as the Apple ID?

Use your Apple ID to sign into System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud. Enable any of thse items in the list you want to use - Calendars, Contacts, etc. When you enable Mail you will be asked to create an @icloud.com address. The text before the '@' can be anything which hasn't already been used, but you should avoid odd characters (incuding accents) or punctuation other than stop or hyphen.
