problem with Pages after installing Catalina

The following window appears now whenever I try to save a new document and change the name from

"untitled", Untitled can't be opened right now.

Pages couldn't read the file.

MacBook Air 11", macOS 10.15

It sounds like you're having some trouble saving a Pages document and I want to help.

I have the same issue and have never changed permission. I have same problem since upgrading to Catalina. Off and on - sometimes I can open docs for almost a whole day, but then stops working. When I get that response, I reboot and can open documents --- for a while ... I think there is a glitch in Catalina that Apple need to fix!
