Since the last update, there is no easy way to empty my trash out of my email.
I used to be able to “select all” and then hit “delete”. Now,, if you select all, delete button no longer appears.
i don’t want to have to check each one and then hit delete - anyone know of a faster method ?

I have no problem deleting mail from my trash folder. I tap edit at the top, then tap select all at the top, then I tap delete at the bottom, and then tap delete all at the bottom. You are saying that you can’t do this?
Not anymore
min trash, top left, I select all
bottom options are
mark move and archive
no delete button
Check:
Settings>Passwords&Accounts>[your account]>Advanced... Move discarded messages into: DELETED MAILBOX
When done, restart your iphone, then test it again

Your iPhone 7, running iOS 13, has ADVANCED.
Tap on your account..... ADVANCED is the last option at the bottom
Make the appropriate modifications.

This does not allow me to empty the trash file.
Did the options change at the bottom (after selecting ALL)?
Are you seeing Mark, Move and TRASH (instead of ARCHIVE)?
