install apple books on pc

using the search string 'install apple books on pc' i should get a return of at least one related entry, but i don't. at least not among the first 100 responses. i get instead questions like installing a webcam for my son. not helpful.

i want to buy and distribute books on apple books, but spent 2 hours yesterday fruitlessly searching for helpful info. i assume this problem--getting apple books on a pc--has arisen 1000s of times and was answered 1000s of times, but discovering where the info is rivals finding answers on microsoft's sites.

please advise.

Books purchased from Apple's Books Store are normally only readable on Apple devices. It tells you that in the requirements section on every purchase page in the Apple Book Store. If you want to read books on a PC, you need to buy them somewhere else.

If you want to sell books directly on Apple's store, you need to have a Mac or rent time on one. Otherwise you should use an Aggregator.

Thank you. Since I've been seeking ways to get the software, I of course haven't had the opportunity to see the purchase page for any book, so you can understand my frustration.
