Received a suspicious call

I received a call from 1800 # that reported suspicious activity in my iCloud and asked my to press #1to be connected to Apple support.

Such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, or simply not answer the call.
