How to delete the (emptied) Macintosh HD - Data partition. Any help please?

Downgrading from Catalina to Mojave i'm not able to delete the emptied Macintosh HD - Data partition.

Disk Utility can't do that...

Any help please?

You have to do it from recovery.

I assume you have a time machine backup to restore from.

Deleting the Mac-Os Data Partiton I have installed macOS Big Sur and due to bootcamp not working I need to downlaod macOS Catalina. I have found out that I need to erase the macOS Data partition when I boot into the installer so I can install Catalina. Is it safe and will I keep all my data (files, games, movies ect.)?

Disk Utility and Partitioning Why can't I delete this partition? What I tried to do was create an empty partition from the Windows partition for the Macintosh partition to increase it's storage by merging with the empty one. I'm not exactly sure how I messed up, but please help me.
