Login in to UK App store

I'm trying to get the Plusnet app, further to my previous post (which I cannot delete or find to edit)

The instruction is to login to the UK app store, by logging in to Apple, which I've done but all I'm getting is a page of rubbish telling me 'what the app store is, and what it does'. Obviously I know that much, but there's nothing about logging in, finding your app, or where the store is hidden, or a tab for it, a search box, or a page link - NOTHING

So, just how do I login to the UK app store - I've surfed all over but there's nothing online giving the slightest instruction on a simple procedure - NOT EVEN FROM APPLE, which you would have thought is essential!

And yeah, I have the app store icon on OS but there's no way to transfer to the UK version for UK apps

thx

Let's try this again. If you find yourself on a landing page, you are in the wrong part of your iPhone. You should not be in Safari. You should be in the App Store app, just as when you are installing any other new app. Go back to your Home screen, locate the "App Store" blue icon with white triangular A on it, and open the App store portal.

Once there, try something first. Tap on the Search icon (the magnifying glass) at the bottom right of the screen. Type in "plusnet", if that is the name of the app you need, and tap "Search". If the right app is offered to you as a result of this search, "Get" it. If not, you are not in the UK store and need to move there -- here's how.

At the top right corner of the screen you should see a blue silhouette (or your personal icon). Tap there. At the bottom of the next screen is a "Sign out" link. Tap there. At the top of the next screen, input your UK Apple ID and password. Tap on "Sign In". You are now in the UK store. Search for "plusnet" and install it. When it has been downloaded and installed, click the "Open" oval and try it out. If all is good, once again go back to the App Store app, Sign out of your UK ID and sign back in to your everyday ID.

Let me know how you make out.

It is not straightforward, but it is doable. If you need to install an app that is not available in your country, such as a banking app, you need to set up an Apple ID in that other country. On another device, such as a PC, go to Apple’s web site and create a new ID (in your case) in the UK. Put a new @iCloud address on the account. You will need to put your UK address on the account, of course.

Back on your iPhone, open the App store. Tap on your silhouette in the top right corner and log out. Log in with your UK ID. Install the app you need, test it, and then go back to the App store to log out of your UK ID and back into your regular ID. good luck.

OK, I think I understand. Once you have your UK ID created, you then have to use your iDevice to continue. The action of tapping on the App store icon will place you inside the store of the country where your ID is located.

Or are you saying that even though your regular Apple ID is in the UK, when you try to install the app, you get told you are in the wrong country’s store?

More or less, I login as instructed, then reach a landing page telling me what the App Store is and does.. but that's it - theres no menu, no radio button, or shortcut, just a long scroll down page of info and nothing else... - so bizarrely, I've logged in numerous times to see if I'm doing something dumb, but still the same annoying holding page... no apps grrrr!

So when I'm logged and do a search all I get is the Apple Store, (not theAPP store), The iTunes store, and neither are the f!!$)(!!! UK app store
