pay with different cards
If I enable sharing can I use separate cards to pay for personal and business purchases?

Hi johnfromcedar park,
Thanks for posting. If I understand correctly, you have a question about payment for Family Sharing and iCloud; is that right?
This resource, Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods, has some great information:
"Manage payment methods that family members use
When you set up Family Sharing and turn on purchase sharing, one adult in the family—the family organizer—controls a single shared payment method for everyone in the family group. Learn more about family purchases and payments.
If you're the family organizer, you can add multiple payment methods to your own Apple ID, but your family members can use only the first payment method in the list. If a family member can't make a purchase, the family organizer can move a different payment method to the top of the list."
You can add multiple payment methods for your Apple ID, but there's not exactly a way to distinguish between personal or business; the cards will be listed in order of preferred payment method, and if the first one can't be charged, the billing would process using the next card in the list.
I hope I've answered your question! Take care.

Sounds like I could put the personal card as primary for family use, then the business card second on my account as organizer. Will just need to remember to choose the second account when making business purchases.
So long as recurring subscriptions pull from the same card every time this should work.
Thank you!
