Deleting photos in iCloud

Hi,

Can I delete the photos on my iPhone and iPad devices because they are in iCloud? This will help with GB storage on my devices. I pay extra for iCloud storage therefore that isn’t an issue. I just want to delete photos from my actual iPhone device to expedite more iPhone storage.

The latter article talks about the "Optimize iPhone Storage" option which might help in your case.
