No sound after latest update

Hi. Ever since I updated my iPhone 8 to iOS 13 the sound during phone calls has been really bad. I can't hear anything the other person is saying on the line even at full volume. It works fine if I put the call on speaker and also on headphones, but can't hear anything on the phone itself. What can I do to fix this?
