Just upgraded to Catalina and due to the errors i am seeing I want to restore back to before I upgraded. However i notice NONE of my time machine backups from Mojave are there ....
Any else notice that earlier backups are gone or are they there but just not visible under catalina?

The default view was showing the ‘locations’ tab and showing my Macbooks name so I assumed that was the Mac and my HDD but it isn’t .. simply clicking on my name in the left hand bar in Time Machine brought them up ... I rarely use TM to restore from but it was odd I thought so not sure if this is new behaviour or just me being thick ..

ahhhhh my bad .... the backups are there ... i looked in the wrong place on the backup ..ignore this ..
I have a few crashes , also noticed one of my Photo Apps (Motif for Photos) has had issues with converting Photobooks correctly and I need to get back to before Catalina .... very odd the other backups arent there ..I am sure i saw them when I first upgraded which is what makes it even odder!

Glad to hear you found the earlier backups, but mine disappeared and I cant't find them!!!!! You say you were looking in the wrong place. Can you please say where you found them so I wold look there?

What kind of errors did you have when upgrading to Catalina?
It certainly sound very serious because I just check my Time Machine backup and everything is there for over a year.
Heavy sigh of relief.
Update : hmmmmm they have disappeared again ... they aren’t there ... I’m sure they are there though (restoring from it on another MB)
