This happened right after I installed Catalina, I can reboot it and it works until it goes to sleep. I can tell everything else is working. Keyboard is lights up and task bar comes on. The screen is just black. Anyone experiencing this issue with Catalina?
Resetting the NVRAM fixed the issue.
I finally fixed the issue by erasing my hard drive and doing a clean install of Catalina.
Resetting SMC and NVRAM did NOT resolve this issue for me.
Yeah, it fixed mine only for a short time. I’m still working on trying to find a fix. I’m about to do a fresh install of Catalina and see if it fixes the issue.
I have the same issue, my external monitor doesn't come back on after going to sleep. I'm using my laptop in clamshell mode. Anyone found a solution?
