Search bar in new iPad iOS?

Trying to find the search feature in the new iPad iOS (v 13.1.2). On iPhone iOS (and old iPad iOS), you swiped down from Home screen. Since Home screen is now kind of just incorporated, where is the search feature/bar?

Thank you so much! I was swiping down from top rather than middle of the screen. Lifesaver!

You still swipe down for the middle of any home screen. Look at my screenshot for the approximate place to swipe.
