Keep the Apple Watch on while showering

Are there any water resistant products that can be used to protect the Apple Watch while showering that wont interfere with its functions?

Don't worry about wearing it in the shower. The Apple support document actually says it's OK to wear in the shower -

Showering with Apple Watch Series 2 and newer is ok, but we recommend not exposing Apple Watch to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and perfumes as they can negatively affect water seals and acoustic membranes. Apple Watch should be cleaned with fresh water and dried with a lint free-cloth if it comes in contact with anything other than fresh water

If you get soap on it, then rinse it with fresh water. Eventually you might have to buy a new watch (in a few years, probably), but I would rather buy a new watch every few years than risk falling in the shower when alone.

As useful as it is anytime you remove the watch. I provided you with the information you need as to wearing the watch while showering. You decide what you would like to do after that. It is not intended to be a permanent solution for falls. Do whatever you would have done had you not had the watch.
