MacBook Air

I have a black vertical line towards the left side of my screen does anyone know how to fix this. Ive been told to turn it off and press command option r and p but this does not work can someone with the same issue or knowledge on how to fix this help me please.

You could try Apple Hardware Test / Apple Diagnostics, but there are only two possible outcomes and both lead to the same result: it may identify a specific failure which only Apple can fix, or it will conclude "no trouble found" when trouble clearly exists.


Either way, it requires a trip to a Genius Bar or AASP: Contact Support.
