my brand new MacBook Pro 15" bought this yr sept 2019 will not show the extended desktop on my Samsung tv, using an apple adapter ( usb-c to HDMI, lightning and usb)
The tv and cable work with my PC.

I have read this article and I have done everything it suggests. My view bar at the top of my screen shows that its connected to the Samsung tv, and I can even switch my speakers to the Samsung tv, but you don't hear anything and nothing appears on the tv. the tv continues to say no signal.
Are you sure you have the correct input selected on the TV?
it says HDMI in the top left corner of the tv. I have flipped through the sources available through the remote, but there is only one HDMI port on the tv. ??
