Apple Watch issues.
When I place it on the charger the white Apple logo appears, then it turns red and disappears. What does this mean and how do I get it to turn on?

Haven’t used the watch in months, actually got a new phone since I used the watch, so it’s probably not up to date. But I can’t get it to turn on to update it. I keep trying to hold down both buttons until it restarts but it never actually restarts.
